Meet the Mud Crew
Every kid has their own monster truck, and they share a special bond: when the kid is brave, kind or patient, their truck can do amazing things.

Pip is the smallest in the crew and Wren is the smallest truck, sunshine-yellow with big knobbly tyres. Together they climb where the big trucks can't. Scared? Breathe in for 4, out for 4… and go.

Ada is the calm, fair leader. Boru is the biggest truck in the valley, moss-green with a mighty winch. He only goes full power when everyone's ready. “Every wheel matters!”

Rory is fast, funny and hates waiting. Comet is cherry-red and built for big jumps, but he only grips the mud when Rory slows down and listens. “Ready, set… wait for it!”

Sadie sketches wild ideas. Rattlebolt is the bright-orange gadget truck with a periscope, umbrella arm and grabber claw (most of them work!). “What if we tried…?”

Ollie uses a wheelchair and notices feelings before anyone else. Moss is the steady teal rescue truck with a lift-ramp and hand controls, the gentlest rescuer around. “Let's slow down and listen.”

An old mechanic who can't find his glasses (they're on his head). Everyone doubts his wobbly inventions… right up until they save the day.

Warm hugs, strong tea and a look that stops mischief at fifty paces. “Kind isn't the same as soft.”

Cookie is a cuddly Cavalier who'd do anything for a sausage roll. Pint is a clever collie cross who hears all the valley gossip and brings back clues.

A cheerful, slightly clumsy puffin who crash-lands with every mystery envelope. Can you spot her hiding on every story spread?
